Power Outages in Ajmer Leave Residents Without Information

Ajmer City residents during summer continue to face frequent outages despite paying for regular electricity supply.
Though Tata Power Ajmer Distribution Limited has provided WhatsApp support channel and toll-free number (74120-12222, 1800-889-0001), many power cuts are done without notice and no one is there to pick calls and tell reason or at least when the electricity will be back.
Residents continue to suffer from scorching heat during summers and these power cuts make it worse especially when there is no one to answer their queries. WhatsApp channel just registers complaints and gives no updates while the toll-free number remains busy with no hope of answers.
Ajmer's Voice
One of the residents told us how there was no electricity at his house between 10 pm to 12 am with no prior notice, no information after power cut, and he got no response to his WhatsApp complaint (Ref No. 090526000055) and no one picked up calls at 1800-889-0001 even after multiple tries, which is the official toll-free number provided.
Conclusion
TPADL continues to provide the worst support and service to consumers who pay regularly across the city and the problem of frequent power cuts remains unresolved.
